735 boasts bold, intense layers of dark blueberries, plums, and spicy raspberries. Once poured, you can smell the warm inviting essence of oak, peppered with dark berry fruit and haunting notes of spice.
No. 735 is a red blend named after the old tank known as Tank 735. In this tank 735, all kinds of wonderful red blends have been created. Fruit from the Veauta and the Burke Ranches have blessed this red blend which includes: 35% Petite Sirah, 24% Syrah, 18% Grenache, 18% Mourvedre, 3% Zinfandel, 2% Viognier. 100% Amador in a bottle.
The fruit was harvested in October 2013 and placed in half ton bins that were hand punched down to gently stimulate fermentation.
The TdO winemaking team, led by Chris Leamy, are excited to introduce this ‘one time only’ red blend into the TdO line up. 735 then carefully slept in French Oak barrels for 30 months …just waiting for that moment of perfection!
